Our Mission

Inclusive, Affirming, and Compassionate Therapy

The mission of Gentle Growth Counseling

I wholeheartedly believe in social justice and equity. All therapists have a passion in healing work and improving lives and from where I stand, this can’t begin and end at the individual level. I am committed to working towards the end of oppression and injustice which impacts the lives of us all and especially the most vulnerable among us. This is why I do not want there to be any question whether this practice is inclusive and affirming. I will meet you where you are and how you come. I will believe you and stand with you. I know you deserve dignified compassionate treatment. With systems of oppressions in place that benefit from your insecurity and isolation, the most powerful thing you can do is love yourself unconditionally. We can get there together.

We can’t hate ourselves into a version of ourselves that we can love,

The magic ingredient to therapy is the relationship with your therapist. My commitment is to provide a safe and affirming space where you can focus on your own needs and feel empowered to grow.
